Why Use NSRDS? |
The NSRDS mission is based upon
the participation of FFELP members including lenders, guarantors,
servicers, colleges, and universities to provide a single
source for historical nationwide student residences, phone
numbers, email addresses, and personal references. The development
and integration of this information began in 1999 and deployment
began on January 1, 2002 to qualified Title IV participants.

Is NSRDS FREE? |
|
YES! You pay nothing, and at
the same time authorized lenders, servicers, and guarantors
gain interactive access to this information.

Is NSRDS associated with NSLDS |
|
No! They are completely separate. Whereas NSLDS is a government entity; NSRDS is a private undertaking
relying on the voluntary interaction of authorized FFELP participants.
